August 25 & 26, 2010 - Monsoon thunderstorms erupted across the Inland Empire of Southern California. On Aug 25, a severe thunderstorm caused severe localized damage in Lake Elsinore when microburst winds snapped dozens of power poles, toppled trees, damaged homes, and trapped 12 people in a minibus when powerlines fell on it. On Aug 26, severe thunderstorms formed once again and rolled across the Inland Empire from Beaumont to Temecula, causing flash flooding, golfball hail, and high winds. Microburst damage occured in Winchester, and severe haboob sandstorms blew across Lakeview and Nuevo.
Wednesday, June 30, 2010 - Just wrapped up 6 days on the road storm chasing in central plains. Captured two landspout tornadoes near Thedford, Nebraska on June 25!
